The Nouvelle Alexandrie national football team is the football team which represents the micronation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. It is a member of the EMUFA, and is run by the FNAF.

The team is seen as the spiritual successor to Alduria in that the vast majority of its players originate from this nation's team, but it does not retain its records.

History

The team was founded in early 2021 after the foundation of Nouvelle Alexandrie as the successor state to Alduria-Wechua, which was instead represented by its constituent nations' respective teams. They first competed in the following year's EMU qualifiers, where they topped their five-team group after winning every match to qualify for the 2022 EMU Championships. At EMU 2022, they advanced from their group as winners with seven points to reach the semi-finals where they beat The Hexarchy 2–1 before overcoming reigning champions Mercury on penalties in the final to lift the nation's first ever trophy.

The 2023 FMF World Cup qualification rounds saw the team top their five-team group with 24 points as they won every match to qualify for the finals, where they advanced from Group B in second place with seven points. They then defeated Meckelnburgh 1–0 in the play-off round before being eliminated by Calbion on penalties in the quarter-finals.

As reigning EMUFA champions, the team qualified automatically for the 2024 EMU Championships—a competition they would subsequently also bid successfully to host—and also received an automatic berth in the year's FMF Confederations Cup, where they placed second in the holders' group with nine points to advance to the semi-finals. There they beat Mercury 3–1 in extra time before losing the final to Senya 2–0 to finish as tournament runners-up. In the EMU finals, the team advanced to the knock-out stages after finishing second in their four-team group with seven points, narrowly behind Phinbella on goals scored, where they overcame Mercury on penalties in the semi-finals before being bested by Phinbella 3–2 after extra time in the final to finish as runners-up.
