The Microvision Song Contest 2016 was the fourth edition of the reorganised and rebranded contest—the eighteenth hosting overall—and had a total of 13 entrants. It was held in Lindström, Natopia, and was won by Greater Walstadt. It was given a theme of "we are the weird".
