The Hurmudan and Phineonesian Popular Song Festival, known as the HurPhinVision Song Festival, in short as HurPhinVision is a pop song competition in the Order of the Holy Lakes, created in 2025 as a selection step at the national level, The winning song represents the country in the Microvision/Micrasvision Song Contest. The song competition is organized by the union of broadcasters Hurmu and Phineonesian Broadcasting Consortium (HPBC) and broadcast on all broadcasters in every realm on the Order of the Holy Lakes.
Hurmu and Phineonesian Broadcasting Consortium also organized the PyeongrangVision Song Festival serving as the semi-final for the Phineonesian realms, which was previously a national level selection in the Phineonesian Confederation until 2023. Meanwhile, the Hurmudan realms and Svetostrov internally select artists and songs for now.
Development
From RP 2600 to RP 2619, the Phineonesian Confederation Broadcasting Consortium (predecessor to the Hurmu and Phineonesian Broadcasting Consortium) ran a song competition in the Phineonesian region, the PyeongrangVision Popular Song Festival. This competition existed before the creation of the Microvision Song Contest in 2006. Although PyeongrangVision was existed, but Phinbella, Forajasaki and Plazas de Irian only chose songs internally since the beginning of its appearance on Microvision. In RP 2618, when the Phineonesian Confederation was established, PyeongrangVision chose its champion as its representative of the Phineonesian Confederation at Microvision twice.
Meanwhile, Hurmu made her debut on Microvision in 2020, where until 2023, she had been selecting songs internally.
In 2024 when HPBC was established, following the merger of the Phineonesian Confederation into the Order of the Holy Lakes, some suggested that PyeongrangVision would be a national level competition involving only regional participation from each realm, instead they devised a new format, with the majority only proposing participation from each realm rather than each region. This resulted in no consensus on changing the existing song competition format, and it was forced to conduct an internal selection at Microvision 2024.
In November 2024, HPBC strategized by making PyeongrangVision a Phineonesian-level competition by selecting a song for each Phineonesian realm (Phinbella, Forajasaki, Plazas de Irian and Desaremix), totaling 4 songs. At the same time, the Hurmudan realms will internally select songs to represent each realm. Desaremix also conducted an internal selection due to the absence of its representative in the PyeongrangVision selection. HPBC announced that they would be organizing the Hurmu and Phineonesia Popular Song Festival (which is the original name) as a national-level competition involving the participation of each Hurmudan and Phineonesian realms. The name was initially mentioned as a possibility, but they were later officially named the HurPhinVision Popular Song Festival. According to HPBC, HurPhinVision would be held sometime after PyeongrangVision and before Microvision.
