Desaremix, officially the Order of the Holy Lakes in right of Desaremix (Phineaner: Perintah Tasik Suci di kanan Desaremix) is a realm in the Order of the Holy Lakes located in the east of Eura. It borders the Phinbellan territory of Shandānø'kaí and the Paminorshan Free State administered by Phinbella (by the region of the Phinbellan Euran States) to the northeast, the Suren Confederacy to the southwest including two islands he administers to the south and east, and The Green to the north and west. Desaremix is a city-state covers an area of 2,185.98 square kilometers but has a sovereignty area of 19,298.38 square kilometers and is divided into special wards and six counties. Desaremix has a population of 2,580,140 people of native residents and has a population density of 134 people per square kilometer.

Etymology

Desaremix comes from the name of a leading engineering and technology company in Phinbella that was dissolved in the early RP 2610s. The company has built a camp and settlement in the area. This area took the company's name as the name of this new settlement and is now became a city full of high technology.

History

In 1729, the Senate and the Secretariat became aware of the discovery of Alexandrium. As such, the Senate decided to fund quick and swift prospect assessments into the then Green of Eura. The initial assessments confirmed industrially and economically extractable viable quantities of alexandrium. As such, the Senate authorized the establishment of colonies along the Green of Eura, a group of colonies under Phinbellan rule – the Phinbellan Euran States – and one colony to be set up as its own realm, Desaremix. Initial assessments were found to be inaccurate by 1731 AN, with more accurate technology and tests reflecting that there are no Alexandrium deposits within the territory of Desaremix.

The city was incorporated as a realm of the Order of the Holy Lakes (Hurmu) by the Senate of the Lakes on 12.VIII.1729 through the adoption of the Eastern Eura Act.
