High Court of Justice of Western Natopia

The High Court of Justice of Western Natopia, also known as the "Western Natopian High Court", is the highest court of Western Natopia, serving as the final court of appeal in Western Natopia for all civil and criminal cases. As Western Natopia’s highest appellate court for these matters, it hears cases of the greatest public or constitutional importance affecting all of Western Natopia.

The High Court of Justice is chaired jointly by the Co-Emperors of Western Natopia as Chief Justices of the High Court and managed by the Secretary of Justice and Homeland Security, with seven other associate justices that are appointed by the Co-Emperors of Western Natopia on the advice of the Chancellor of Western Natopia. The High Court of Justice rules on interpretations of imperial law or demesnial law, if a case is brought to it. Members, other than the Emperor, serve twelve-year terms. Members can be removed by a two-third majority of the Frenzy with confirmation from the Co-Emperors. They may also resign.

The Court usually sits in the Palace of Justice in Geneva, though it can sit elsewhere and has, for example, sat in Dos Gardenias and in Triegon before. The High Court of Justice has the power of judicial review and can overturn legislation if it is contrary to the Constitution or the Caprine Code.
