Worldwide Football Management (also known as WFM) is a series of football management simulation games developed and published by Drag0n Entertainment. It is the main competitor of Micronational Soccer Manager.
Game Modes
The game allows players to play a variety of game modes:
- Career Mode
- Where players can play as a rookie manager in the lower and less prestigious leagues of the world with little reputation and attempt to rise to the top of the world and maybe one day own a mansion and the world's biggest club.
- Chairman Mode
- Where players can choose any team and take over as chairman and make all the financial decisions of the team from building the stadium and infrastructure down to setting the prices of hot dogs in the south stand.
- Manager Mode
- Where players can choose any team and start their manager career with any amount of reputation.
- Create a Club Mode
- Where players can create a club in the fictional lower leagues of any nation and rise it to the top playing as both manager and chairman, making all the decisions.
Key Features
- Private Life
- Players may start and raise a family, invest on the stock market, take up sailing, mountaineering, marathonning or golf and invest in homes and furnishings. Players can also use their hard earned cash to either create a new club or take over an existsing one.
- Realistic Economy
- The economy in WFM is highly realistic, with supply, demand, inflation, consumer confidence and other economic theories all present in the chairman mode. Managers should worry too as it will affect how much transfer budget they have to spend.
- Realistic 3D Match Engine
- From the fans in the stadium to the dirt on the ground and the skills of the players, the match engine in WFM is at the top of its class, with every stadium, every face and every play feeling unique and beautifyl.
- Accessibility
- Even though the game is extremely complex, you may hire staff to do as many tasks as you wish them to, from managing hot dog prices all the way to signing superstars. You can have as much or as little input as you want, thouugh bad staff are worse at their job than good ones, there is no handicap to the player as staff also learn from the player's decisions due to their advanced neural networking AI.
