Kartan Arvidsson (born 1625 Azjareyja, died in Estarisa in 1719) was a Sanaman diplomat. He was ambassador to Jingdao (1693–1707). The great grandson of Spraki Krumsson, Kartan belonged to the small Norse minority in Sanama. In Shireroth, he is considered a nobleman due to his lineage. Following the reunification of Jingdao with Shireroth, Kartan retired to his Sanaman home and family residence – a mansion 25 km south of Whanitori on Estarisa. The mansion and its lands were the last remains of the family's former feudal holding belonging Count of Azarea, once covering the entire island.
He was unmarried and has no children. He played the cello regularly, and had hosted concerts in the Sanaman embassy in Jingdao.
He died of old age in Whanitori on Estarisa.
