Sehoshi (雪星) is the third-born child and first daughter of Prince Ichirō and Lady Kaika bat Gyoku. The Jingdaoese reading of the name, which means "snow star", is Xuěxīng. The first character in the name also honours her late grandmother, Lady Yukiji, and is also the first character in her brothers' name, thus it has become a generation name for her, her brothers, and their future siblings. She was born in the private hospital for members of the Order of the Holy Lakes which is run by Kallisti Health Services Inc.
