Madani Avon-El
Madani Avon-El, born 1685, is eldest daughter of Zacharias Avon-El and Elia Simrani-Osman. Her paternal grandfather is Jeremiah Avon-El. Maternal grandparents are Adam al-Osman and Madani Simrani.
Paternal first cousins are Prince Iñigo and Princess Rosamund of the Imperial State of Constancia.
She is a Benacian Union national, and Lady of the Holy Lakes through her father. She is a national of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth and of the Imperial State of Constancia through her mother.
One of the pioneers to study at the Benacian Academy on its establishment due to lack of better options, growing up in the sovereign Emirate of Sathrati together with the Imperial Dominion of the Marquessate of Zy-Rodun and the Counties of Yardistan, Amity, and Mirioth, where she was conceived after her father exiled himself after the abortive coup attempt just a year before she was born, and where her mother was working as a member of the Board of Directors of the Gold Star Ferry Corporation.
Enlisted (by operation of Constancian law) in the Modan Brigade on her 18th birthday as an ordinary Sarbaz (Soldier) in the Imperial Constancian Army. Continued higher studies at the Merensk campus, where her father was stationed as Prefect of Merensk.
On graduation, was immediately offered a post in any of the companies of the Benacian Directorate of the Honourable Company, but she surprisingly (and perhaps to be rid of her rather domineering father) chose to explore Eura and that side of the family, under the watchful gaze and supervision of her aunt, Esmeralda al-Osman, as well as the State Protection Authority as a matter of course. Resided at Modan, Molivadia for a time, fulfilling her Constancian military obligations, gaining proficiency in arms, and working in minor administrative roles within the ESB Group offices there, (her aunt being wife of the Basileus and Chairwoman of the ESB Group meant that she was not to be touched), with the rank of Senior Writer, but spent holidays with her Imperial aunt and uncle and cousins. Promoted accordingly from Sarbāz Dovom (Specialist) to Ypodekaneas (Lance-Corporal) to Dekaneas (Corporal) and Kentarchos (Sergeant), stil with the Modan Brigade.
In 1708, was energized by wanderlust to move to the bigger city, Aqaba, just in time to work for her cousin, Princess Rosamund, initially as an executive assistant for the new Director of Euran Operations, eventually rising through the years from Correspondence Secretary to Appointments Secretary to become Principal Private Secretary in the Household of Princess Rosamund, and attached to her military household with the rank of Sarlashkar (Major-General).
With the approval of her adoptive Imperial family, dated Steven Pasternak for a while, but eventually decided to take things serious with José Emmanuel Thorgils Kerularios, who was only 4 years her senior, charming, funny, and "just right" in her words - socially, intellectually, financially, and dynastically. Relationship officially entered in 1711, by 1714, he proposed.
Elected Director of Euran Operations of the Honourable Company during a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors on 17.XI.1743 at Astérapolis, in the course of the Constancian Conclave.
