Manifesto

Coordinated State

Defence of the Realm

  1. A naval-led campaign to defeat the Confederacy of the Dispossessed throughout the Sea of Storms. The Dispossessed wage their war against the Federation and the civilised world with a fleet that is as obsolete as it is prodigious. The Federal Navy will need to expand over the next decade to meet the challenges of the corsair fleets that have arisen following the collapse of the Bassarid empire outside of Corum.
  2. A continuation of the campaign to eliminate (not capture) the leadership cadres of the Dispossessed. For the shameful slaying of His Majesty, Manco Cápac, there can be no justice except in retribution and reprisal.
  3. A programme of corvette building, with orders to be placed with ESB Armada and the Pontecorvo Firm.
  4. A mobilisation of the Federal Guards Service to support pacification efforts in New Caputia. Operation Purple Splendor yielded a battlefield victory, but now the hard grind of eradicating Bassarid tendencies amongst the liberated population must be undertaken.
  5. Acquisition of maritime patrol aircraft, utility helicopters, unmanned aerial surveillance vehicles for the Federal Forces, and the generation of an air tanker fleet capable of ensuring the extended range strike capability of the Federal Air Force.
  6. Our Federation is poised to become the arsenal of the Raspur Pact. Our economic and industrial might will help Normark and the Suren Confederacy turn back the aggressive incursions of the Dispossessed, and thereby ensure the liberation of Dalen and the conclusion of the Norasht campaign. We can be justly proud of our contributions towards making the world a safer place.
  7. Mobilization of unemployed and volunteers into a revitalized civil defense force

Foreign Policy and Trade

  1. The Mehrshahr Agreement, providing access to four military bases in the Suren Confederacy, will form the bedrock of Nouvelle Alexandrie's contribution to the defence and security of its fellow Raspur Pact and Euran Economic Union member-state,.as well as its commitment to the collective security of the Euran realms in the face of the ceaseless aggression of the Dispossessed. This mission is focused on generating an Area Defence (artillery, air-defence, surveillance, UAVs etc) capability for the Surenid Armed Forces and will not entail direct combat actions. The contribution of Nouvelle Alexandrie to the ongoing Norasht campaign remains one of training and advice, albeit with an expanded logistical component, which will expand yet further as the FHP policies concerning rearmament reach fruition.
  2. Our trade policy shall remain oriented towards the Raspur Pact. To that end, we propose to expand upon the existing benefits of free trade and freedom of movement, by advocating for the adoption of:
    1. Investmenent in infrastructure and logistics to facilitate trade, such as upgrading ports and transportation networks, and reducing customs processing times.
    2. Promotion of joint ventures and technology transfer agreements between companies in different member states, to encourage knowledge-sharing and cooperation in research and development.
    3. Encouragement of the development of industry clusters and special economic zones that specialize in particular products or services, to promote competitiveness and economies of scale.
    4. Fostering cooperation on regulatory and standards issues, to ensure that products can move seamlessly across borders without facing unnecessary regulatory barriers.
    5. Promoting the use of digital technologies to enhance trade, such as electronic customs clearance systems, e-commerce platforms, and Panopticon-based supply chain tracking systems.
    6. Work with member states to promote sustainable trade practices, such as reducing carbon emissions from shipping and promoting sustainable sourcing practices.
    7. Foster cultural exchange and people-to-people ties, such as promoting tourism and educational exchange programs, to deepen mutual understanding and promote cross-border collaboration.

Regionalisation

  1. Continuing the policy of successive governments, the FHP focus is on providing the regions with the tools they need to fulfill their needs. With the Federation spread across three continents, and with many regions the size of powerful, diverse, and regionally expansive empires in their own right, it would unreasonable to prescribe utopian top down solutions for local problems, such as the perennial issue concerning housing construction. With the creation of a powerful housing ministry, and with the support of the Ministry of the Interior, the Federal Government is positioned to provide every support to the regional authorities, but it is the regions that must deliver. It is not for the Federal Government to appropriate land, mandate social housing, or punish developers for allowing perverse incentives to develop. There comes a point where, if the tiers of governance are to have meaning, the localities must resolve these matters for themselves.

Harmonious Society

Conservation and environmental stewardship

  1. Promote market-based solutions to environmental issues, such as emissions trading, carbon offsets and green bonds, to incentivize the private sector to adopt more sustainable practices.
  2. Support the development and deployment of renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind and hydroelectric power, to reduce the nation's reliance on fossil fuels and enhance energy security.
  3. Advocate for the creation of a national park system to protect the country's natural beauty and biodiversity, while also promoting ecotourism as a means of creating jobs and generating revenue.
  4. Mobilization of the unemployed as well as volunteers into a national conservation service

Economic Growth

  1. Lower corporate tax rates and streamline regulatory processes to make it easier for businesses to operate in the country.
  2. Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation through funding of start-ups and small businesses, and by establishing business incubators and accelerators.

Education

  1. Increase funding for STEM education in the grand institutes, to promote innovation and prepare students for the jobs of the future.
  2. Promote vocational education and apprenticeships to help students develop practical skills and gain valuable work experience.
  3. Encourage partnerships between the grand institutes, universities, and businesses to facilitate technology transfer and foster innovation.

Infrastructure and Transport

  1. Invest in infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges and airports, to improve connectivity and facilitate economic growth. This will include pioneering an expanded Keltian Highway as soon as the continental security environment permits.
  2. Support the development of public transportation systems, such as buses and light rail, to reduce congestion and promote sustainable transportation.
  3. Encourage the adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles by providing incentives, such as tax breaks and subsidies, to promote their use.
  4. Promotion and encouragement of peoplecentric and active transport, as well as accompanying infrastructure

Societal harmonisation

  1. Promote social cohesion by celebrating the monarchy, the achievements of the Federation, and fostering a sense of national unity routed in the struggles of the Alexandrian, Caputian, and Wechua diasporas.
  2. Advocate for greater civic engagement and volunteerism to promote social responsibility and community involvement.
  3. Encourage the development of holistic community programs that promote mental health and wellness, such as counseling services and stress reduction workshops.

Campaign launch speech

Words given by Felipe de Almagro on behalf of the leadership of the Federal Humanist Party:

Esteemed citizens of Nouvelle Alexandrie,

Today, I come before you to extol the virtues of the Federal Humanist Party's manifesto for our great nation. This manifesto is a beacon of hope, a blueprint for a better future, and a testament to the resilience and vision of our great nation.

I speak to you today, on behalf of my fellow archon Gerhardt Eugen Seydlitz, and most importantly on behalf of Paolo Antonio Aguilar, the man whom I hope will be embraced by this Federation as its next premier and my successor. He is a fellow citizen who is deeply committed to the prosperity, security, and wellbeing of our nation, and I know that you will be wholly justified in placing your faith in him. He is a true and loyal servant. Fully adequate to the tasks ahead.

Our Federation has rebounded from tragedy. We have endured the unendurable. Foul and treacherous enemies have struck against us. Slaying our sovereign, our unifier, the founder of our Federation, Manco Cápac. We were grievously wounded and sorely tried, yet we overcame. We committed the remains of the greatest of us to the soil of his native land, and we continued in our duties. We placed the crown upon the head of his heir, and the reign of our new sovereign commenced without interruption. Wounds heal. We endure. Long may His Majesty Sinchi Roca reign over a triumphant and ever victorious realm!

Our victory was inevitable on account of the strength of this Federation. Spanning three continents and embracing two-hundred and eighty-eight million souls. We have developed such a power upon the face of Micras that truly we are the heirs to that Alexandria, the empire that our grandparents and greatgrandparents were forced to abandon. As members of the Raspur Pact we are the equals to ancient and fabled realms, whom we are blessed to address as allies. We are the peers of Natopia, of Shireroth. Empires born of centuries, we have equalled within two generations. We can take a justified pride in our national accomplishments. Accomplishments so often achieved with a Humanist government at the helm. I do not with to indulge in vainglory but the Federal Humanist Party has grown with the Federation into its definitive form, and I trust that the good people of this Federation can take satisfaction from the fruits of our collective accomplishments, the produce of millions of individual endeavours.

We can be proud of our achievement when we remember what we have overcome. We endured and quelled the Great Vanic Revolt. We brought the country through the long and terrible Recession of 1709 and inaugurated the recovery we enjoy still today. Under the stewardship of Humanist administrations accomplished the Pacification of Lyrica and achieved the definitive territorial boundaries of the Federation on Eura and Keltia. Our industrial and technological might, manifested in the Honourable Company and Javelin Industries has made this possible. We are an assurance to our allies, a terror to our enemies, and the certain safety accorded to our peoples.

I say all this because I wish to make clear what has been accomplished during our tenure.

We have managed the dynastic succession seamlessly in a time of conflict. We have an unmatched body of legislative achievements across a range of policy fields. We have achieved consistent economic growth and low unemployment. We have defeated inflation, meaning that every day costs are coming down.

The regions have thrived since the Humanist policy of regionalisation was embarked upon in 1703. Our enabling of the regional governments has seen the populations of the Federation flourish and prosper. We have given the regions the tools; in childcare, education, healthcare, housing, policing, and much else besides, and they have finished the job.

Because of all this, you may be certain that we shall strive fully to deliver upon our manifesto for the next session of the Cortes.

The Federal Humanist Party's manifesto outlines a clear and compelling vision for the future of our great nation. It is a vision that is bold, ambitious, and rooted in the timeless values of freedom, justice, and good order.

Our manifesto calls for a coordinated state that is able to defend our realm against all enemies, foreign and domestic. We seek to expand our naval capabilities, eliminate the leadership cadres of our enemies, and mobilise our Federal Forces to maintain peace and stability across our land.

Our manifesto also recognises the importance of international trade and cooperation, and calls for the expansion of trade with our fellow member-states of the Raspur Pact. We seek to invest in infrastructure, promote joint ventures, foster cooperation on regulatory issues, and promote sustainable trade practices that benefit all of our citizens.

And let us not forget our commitment to regionalisation, which recognises the unique needs and challenges facing each of our great regions. Through a powerful housing ministry and support from the federal government, we seek to provide our regions with the tools they need to thrive and grow.

Esteemed citizens, our manifesto is a testament to our belief in the power of democracy, freedom, and progress. It is a roadmap to a better future, one in which we can all take pride and joy.

Our manifesto is an expression of our will to build a better, more prosperous, and more secure future for ourselves and for generations to come.

Let us therefore unite in support of the Federal Humanist Party's manifesto, and work together to make our great nation even greater. Thank you.

Endorsement speech

Words given by The Prince Iñigo, 2nd Duke of Santiago, in Potosí, Santander, on behalf of the Federal Humanist Party:

My dear friends,

I speak to you today with a heart still in grief.

I am immensely proud; I am immensely lucky, to have had a father who was truly such a great man.

Born here in Santander, when it was still the Empire of the Alexandrians, he took to the army, commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, eventually rising to the rank of Major. Elected Deputy for Santiago, Santander, later Speaker, then Deputy for Santiago, Santander in the Imperial Assembly, Third Consul, Second Consul, First Consul, to his rise as Secretary-General of the Micras Treaty Organization, even at the collapse of the Empire of the Alexandrians he did not stop loving you.

Later as Autokrator of Constancia, he did what he could to assist during the Wechua Sorrow. He let refugees from Santander and elsewhere enter Constancia to find a new life there, or to gather their strength. He proudly showed up to support the Proclamation of Punta Santiago, and happily took the opportunity to represent all of you in his old age as Duke of Santiago. In concert with his brother sovereign, our beloved Manco Cápac, they were both rewarded for their tireless efforts to serve the people with the greatest of treacheries!

Now, we all come to a turning point: Who do we elect to lead us, now that our greatest leaders have been taken from us?

I know someone who has the humility, the background, and most importantly, the character and strength of being to lead us!

He did not choose power. Power chose him! He is one of us! A proud Santanderian! He knows what it is like to fight for principle and yet remain ignored. I speak to you of someone who truly cares for the people, as Paolo’s Pobres will testify. I speak to you of a long and wizened member of your Cortes Regionales, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Sewers of the Committee on Sanitation, founder of many People’s Committees needed to get the job done, Señor Ordenado, Convenor of the New Santander Initiative, President and Chairman of the Santiago Development Corporation, Deputy of the Federal Assembly, Secretary of the Department of National Mobilisation, and your future leader, my kinsman, Paolo Antonio Aguilar!

Outreach and Propaganda

Leader's speech

Gerhardt Eugen Seydlitz, Co-Archon of the Federal Humanist Party, Vice President of the Government, Secretary of the Interior

My fellow New-Alexandrians!

It is decision time once again, and others would have us believe that the other parties offer true solutions to the many problems besetting us.

Let us take, for example, the Federal Consensus Party. They claim, and I quote, “The FCP is the only sane, realistic option to deliver both security AND address domestic issues.”

There’s a problem with this assertion: For all its grand plans and programs, what exactly has the Federal Consensus Party delivered these past few years? The only reason they have once become relevant is because the SDLA is collapsing!

Zero. Zip. Not one bill from them has progressed from draft to actual legislation. Oh, let me emphasize, not one bill has been FILED by the Federal Consensus Party in our national legislature. They claim we steal from them! The Housing Bill was our platform from the last election!

I dare hazard to say, that the sole point, the sole consensus of the Federal Consensus Party is to promise everything, and actually do nothing! This, my friends, is NOT how you govern a multicultural nation such as ours. The Federation deserves better, and under the leadership of the Federal Humanist Party, thanks to all of your support, we have managed to pass the following measures into actual law:

  • The Federation Games Organisation Act of 1715
  • The Disaster Management Act of 1715
  • The Housing and Urban Development Act of 1715
  • The Chamber of Guilds and Corporations Act 1715
  • The Humanitarian Assistance and Protection Act 1717
  • The Defense Production Act 1718
  • The National Manufacturing Expansion Act 1718
  • The Boriquen Admission Act 1718
  • The Treaty of Tiegang Act 1717
  • The National Housing Expansion Act 1718
  • The Water Security and Conservation Act 1718

In addition to legislation, we have managed to become part of the Micras Trade Organization, which has created actual jobs for our fellow New-Alexandrians. We have defended our nation, our Federation, through force of arms, and have succeeded on the battlefield.

Yes, we know what misfortunes befell the games, but consider the fate of those politicians and businessmen who have tried to cheat our harmonious national community. One dead by his own hands, others in custody. Implacable and remorseless justice finds all in our Coordinated State.

This, my friends, is the true leadership that the Federal Humanist Party is proud of. We make real solutions for real people, and not just the mere promise of grandiose plans and programs.

The future of the Federation under the leadership of the Federal Humanist Party remains bright, and we of the FHP will keep it that way!
