The 2018 EMU Championships, commonly referred to as EMU 2018, was the eighth tournament of the EMU Championships, and was held in Mercury between 7 July and 21 July 2018. The eight competing national teams all qualified successfully to be involved. The tournament's matches were played in seven stadiums in six different cities around Mercury.
The tournament was won by hosts Mercury, for their second title, who beat Caputia in the final in Mercury.
Hosting
Mercury was chosen as the host of the tournament after submitting one of two applications. The FMF Executives agreed that the Mercurian bid was more suited for hosting than the other applicant's and it was announced that the host's national team would receive an automatic berth in the tournament, as well as the winners of the previous tournament.
