The city of Mercury is the centre of government in Mercury. The Mercurian Parliament building is situated on the southern bank of the River Bohemia. Embassy Tower stands opposite on the northern bank. The Cook Island Bridge spans the 2.8km strait between the city's mainland and Cook Island, where Araucaria House, home of the President of Mercury, stands.

The city is home to Mercury International Airport, the largest airport in Mercury, which serves a multitude of destinations across Micras. Mercury International railway station is the eastern terminus of the Trans-Keltian Express Route TK1, which connects the city to Nordiskehjem in Normark.
