The Micras Pint Index is published by the Hoennese newspaper Nijima Shinbun as an informal way of measuring the purchasing power parity between two currencies and provides a test of the extent to which market exchange rates result in goods costing the same in different countries. The index, created in 2018, compares the costs of various styles and sizes of beer throughout the world.
