Tanilo Lhayi (born 1625 in Shireroth) is an economist and community organiser from Atesira. He is a member of the United Nationalist Alliance and a member of its national executive committee. Following the election in 1679 he was appointed Chancellor by President of Sanama Keysa Nur Pinito Caprici and served in that capacity until 1685 when he was succeeded by Yon Qusen. He was generally considered to be the personal appointment of President Caprici and was regularly described as her "lapdog" in the media.
