Presidential elections were held in Massat on 6 Sonnuber 1686. Since no candidate received a majority of the vote, a second round was held on 12 Sonnuber. Incumbent president Echo Proteus was reëlected for a term that ran from 1 Friedeber 1686 to 24 Sonnuber 1689.
Instant-runoff voting for demesnal elections was introduced in 1688 and first used in this election.
