The Gerenian League 3 (Gerenian: Leran Žerénies 3) is the third highest football league in Gerenia. It consists on 12 teams, divided geographically into two divisions: Mayfield and New Adarma, since they are the regions in which the nation is subdivided.
Format
During the regular season, teams play only other teams in their own division. In a round, each opponent is played twice, once at home and once away, for a total of 10 matches. Games are scheduled such that in the first 5 matches, every opponent is played once. In the following 5 matches, the same opponents are played in the same order with the only difference being that the venue changes.
Since the 2013–14 season, the regular season will have two rounds.
Promotion and relegation
The winners of each division are automatically promoted to the Gerenian League 2, while the teams finishing last in their respective divisions are relegated to the Gerenian Provincial Leagues.
