New Batavia took part in Microvision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Mijn kleine presidentje" ("My small little president") by Jaap Reesema. The song is sung in Dutch. This act was performed forty-fourth in this year's contest.
In the song a boy asks his father about the bad things in the world. The father wishes his "young mister president" to remain naive as he is. If all grown ups would think like his son, the world would be a better place.
