The secretariat of Marcus Avon-El Myksos was the executive of the Order of the Holy Lakes (Hurmu) for slightly over a year from 15.XII.1738 to 24.XIV.1739. It succeeded the secretariat of Tsatse Vaykok. It was a caretaker executive, taking automatic power upon the resignation of Tsatse Vaykok, and remained in place until the election of a Velibor Jovanović-Smičić as first secretary on 24.XIV.1739.

On 17.I.1739, acting first secretary Marcus Avon-El Myksos nominated Velibor Jovanović-Smičić, Knjaz of Northern Coria, to the office of First Secretary. The nomination was initially met with no opposition in the Senate. After the Senate had considered the motion in committee, Marcus Avon-El moved to elect Knjaz Velibor on 15.II.1739. Despite the lack of opposition to the nomination in the Senate, the humanists opposed the move to vote on the motion. Following this time, the humanists convinced the conservatives to join their opposition to the vote. On 20.III.1739, the majority in the Senate (conservatives and humanists) resolved not to vote on the nomination of Velibor Jovanović-Smičić, Knjaz of Northern Coria, to the office of First Secretary. After much debate, the Senate voted on 24.XIV.1739 to elect Velibor Jovanović-Smičić to the position, marking thus the end of the secretariat of Marcus Avon-El Myksos and the beginning of the secretariat of Velibor Jovanović-Smičić.
