The 2021–22 Hurmu Soccer League is the eleventh season of the Hurmu Soccer League and the first under its new format. Under a directive from the Hurmu Football Association, the league was split into two sections; a regional first round and a national second round, to determine the champions of Hurmu.

Regional Championships

Lake & Southern District Championship

The eight established Hurmu Soccer League clubs were given a bye straight into the Lake & Southern District Championship main stage. To join them, amateur clubs from both the Lake District and the Southern District were invited to participate, so long as they met the entry criteria. As such, a number of applications from amateur clubs were accepted and it was decided to allow four of them to qualify through a preliminary round to join the existing professional sides in a twelve team tournament.

Preliminary rounds

Thirty-one amateur clubs had their applications to participate accepted. They were drawn to participate in a knock-out round to determine the four qualifiers for the Lake & Southern District Championship.
