The National Judex of Sanama is the highest national court in Sanama. It consists of fourteen assistant arbiters and an Arbiter General, appointed by the President of Sanama from a list prepared by the Supreme Judicial Council for life, with mandatory retirement at 75 years old. The court has final jurisdiction over all controversies arising under national law, as well as all cases appealed from a court of appeal or autonomous country court.
