It is the second largest mass media company in Phinbella after NNN with businesses in television, print media, radio, outdoor advertising, content creation and digital media. SBS is one of the radio and television network companies in Phinbella that competes with KBS, NNN and other broadcasters, it is owned by Media Nusa Prima, the Foundation of Broadcasting Culture and the Akalbudi Scholarship Foundation.

It was established on 21 February -10BP, SBS has four national television networks – SBS-RCTP, TSR, GTV and Channel i, and five radio stations – SBS Hyojun FM, RDP, Cool FM, V-Radio and Molek FM – as well as 14 CS service satellite channels under the MNC-CJ Satelite division, including WOWSHOP.
