The 2009 EMU Championships, commonly referred to as EMU 2009, was the second tournament of the EMU Championships, and was held between 18 July and 5 August 2009. Group games were held in each participating nation and the final was held in Ocia. Four of the five competing national teams qualified successfully to be involved, with Craitland being invited to compete as reigning FMF World Cup holders. The tournament's matches were played in six stadiums in six different cities around the host nations.
The tournament was won by Passas, for their second consecutive title, who beat Craitland after extra time in the final in Directus.
Hosting
Due to the small field of competing nations, Craitman H. Pellegrino, FMF President, decided that each competing nation would stage two matches; those during their respective national teams' bye-weeks. Ocia was chosen to host the final match after being reunified shortly before the start of the competition.
