The Phineonesian Accession Treaty (formally the Agreement between the Senate of the Lakes and the Confederation of the Phineonesian Nations on uniting the Confederation of Phineonesian Nations with the Order of the Holy Lakes) is a treaty negotiated between Hurmu and Phineonesia, which, if signed and ratified, would see Phineonesia become a part of the Order of the Holy Lakes, with Phinbella, Forajasaki, and the Plazas de Irian added to the realms of Hurmu.

Background

Relations between Hurmu and Phineonesia were formalized in 1694. Both parties appreciated the other as friendly, but, at times, confusing. Despite this, relations continued becoming deeper. By 1714, the countries agreed to the Tanah Tōnán'hyôrï Treaty, which included shared sovereignty over the large Tanah Tōnán'hyôrï tract of land on the western coast of the Keltian continent, extending into the inland of the continent.

At the same time, Phineonesia joined the Hurmu Customs Area, gaining access to Xäiville Convention markets, and increasing Hurmu products in Phineonesia and Phineonesian products in Hurmu.

The good relations continued, and Hurmu established Amaland and Karnamark around Tanah Tōnán'hyôrï. In 1717, the two countries agreed to share sovereignty over Oystra Stoorskerið after a Phinbellan state visit to Hurmu.

Negotiations

In early 1727, Phinbellan president Muhammad Furkorn Mat Jeen flew to Hurmu with the view to merge Phineonesia and Hurmu into a new federation. As negotiations progressed, the parties agreed that the easiest way would be for the Phineonesian states to join as realms of the Order of the Holy Lakes.
