The Commander of the Order of the Holy Lakes is the chief executive of all internal matters of the Order of the Holy Lakes. He is ex officio the chair of the Senatorial Committee on the Order of the Holy Lakes.
There is a Chancellery, sometimes also translated to Istvanistani as Secretariat, housed in the Palace of the Elenaran, that deals with the day-to-day matters of the Order under the direct supervision of the Commander.
