Batavia in Microvision 2022

Batavia took part in Microvision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Zwevend naar ’t geluk" (Floating to happiness) by Jannes. The song is sung in Batavian. This act was performed thirtieth in this year's contest.

Batavians like to wax poetic about their happiness together. But above all, they are filled with melancholy love. Happiness cannot be had alone, only together. A love affair, a marriage, is the true path to paradise. The Batavian land is like the Garden of Eden, but it only becomes a real paradise when love resides there. Then there is real happiness, together.
