The 2023 Davinson Cup is the first edition of the Davinson Cup and will see all games be played in the new Lapang National Stadium.
All the cup games will be played in a knockout format in a one-legged format.
Format
The following are the official format by the DIFA.
- All teams are to field a 17 man squad with a minimum of 5 Under-22 players, with a minimum of 3 in the starting eleven.
- The teams are to register a 21 man squad with a minimum of 6 Under-22 players.
- Four teams are to enter by qualifying rounds, the 4 being randomly selected by draw.
- Should games end as a tie, the game will go straight to penalties and skip extra time.
Prize money allocation
As cited in the DIFA website:
- 1st Place - Cr 2.5m
- 2nd Place - Cr 2m
- 3rd Place & below - Cr 1m
