The Xenovians (Xenovian: N′uoi Ħ′enova IPA: /ŋ̩ʲɶj xʲɛ̃novɑ/; Phineaner: Orang Xenova/Orang Hyenova) are part of human-lookaliked alien ethnic group originating in Xenova and residing in Phinbella. Jethro of Miditanakiri is considered an ancestor of Xenovians, who revere him as their spiritual founder and chief. In RP 2608, the Phinbellan government designated the Xenovian a distinct ethnic community at the request of its communal leaders. The Xenovian are citizens of Phinbella who serve in the Phinbella Defense Forces. Members of the community have attained top positions in Phinbellan politics and public service. Common to most Xenovian throughout the archipelago is the primally Druzism religion, also minority Nazarene and Umraism, and the use of the Xenovian language.
Although dwarfed by other, larger communities, the Xenovian community played an important role in shaping the history of Phinbella, where it continues to play a large political role. As a minority group in every territories in which they are found, they have frequently experienced persecution, except in Phinéas Padolski and Permata Mutiara, where Xenovian judges, parliamentarians, diplomats, and doctors occupy the highest echelons of society. The Xenovian is one of the major alien groups in Phinbella, with between 8,000 residents. They are found primarily in Territory of Extraterritorial Authority of the Refugee Camp and Immigrant Settlements Area, Maritime Kachi Kochi, Straits Settlements and Permata Mutiara, with small communities in Cyberaya. The oldest and most densely-populated Xenovian communities exist in Tannyeugwa Settlements and in the north of Permata Mutiara around Mountain Druzes. The Xenovian's social customs differ markedly from those of other alien groups, and they are known to form close-knit, cohesive communities which do not fully allow non-Xenovian in, though they themselves integrate fully in their adopted homelands.
