The 2012 Benacia Cup will be the first edition of the Benacia Cup, and will be held in Sanilla. The six competing national teams all qualified successfully to be involved, with the exception of the host nation. The tournament's matches will be played in three stadiums in three different cities around Sanilla.

Hosts

Sanilla was chosen as the hosts of the tournament after submitting the only application. Zeeburg also expressed interest, but failed to submit a complete bid on time.

Each team had to name a 20 man squad with two goalkeepers numbered 1 to 20.

The group draw was made by FMF President Craitman H. Pellegrino and President of Mercury, Joe Foxon.
