The 2020–21 Kopa Sanya was the ninth edition of the Kopa Sanya.
Invited teams
Due to the stature of Senyan tournaments, and Senya's previous history of allowing Zeeburg FC to participate in the inaugural edition, many teams from nearby smaller nations had asked to participate as guest teams. After a forum vote of leagues, clubs and supporters in early 2020, it was decided to invite some foreign teams from neighbouring countries into the tournament. These teams would all enter in the First Round Proper of the tournament.
First Round proper
The 32 teams from the Third and Fourth Leagues, were joined by the 17 invited teams and 15 qualifiers.
Second Round proper
The 32 teams from the Top and Second Leagues joined the 32 winners of the First round.
