Aqabah is a subdivision of the Imperial State of Constancia, claiming land on the continent of Eura, on Micras. The project started on 6.III.1656. It should not be confused with the Aqaba metropolis, its largest city.
History
The settlement of Aqaba was pacified by Royal Constancian Armed Forces elements under Operation Debellatio, and Antistrategos (Lieutenant General) Demetrios Thesalonikis was immediately appointed Military Governor, with full plenipotentiary powers.
His son, Stefanos Themistoklis was appointed Minister for Aqabah on 13.X.1667, and held this position until his replacement by Annalisa Trevino on 13.I.1686. Darcel Slater was appointed Minister for Aqabah on 13.I.1694.

Plenipotentiary authority is vested in the Minister for Aqabah, a national official appointed by the Basileus and with voice and seat, but not vote, in the Imperial Synkletos, who possesses day-to-day executive authority, with significant staff support paid for by the Imperial Government.
Representation from Aqabah to the Synkletos began with the Tenth Synkletos, convened on 22.VI.?.
