The 2022–23 Formula Micras World Championship is a motor racing championship for single-seater cars which will be the first running of the Formula Micras World Championship. It is recognised by the Micras Federation of Motorsport (MFM), the governing body of international motorsport, as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars on Micras. The championship is contested over a number of Grands Prix, which are held around the world.
After the presentation of the official calendar, the season will take place from the end of June 2022 until the beginning of April 2023, racing in 21 different Grands Prix.
Drivers and teams are competing for the titles of World Drivers' Champion and World Constructors' Champion, respectively.
Entries
The following constructors and drivers are currently under contract to compete in the 2022-23 World Championship. Each team can compete with tyres supplied by Vitesse or Bouncy Rings. Each team is required to enter at least two drivers, one for each of the two mandatory cars.
Official calendar
The calendar was made official at the end of May 2022 and includes 21 Grand Prixes, held in 17 countries on Micras. The current program foresees the start of the season on 19 June 2022 with the Vegnese Grand Prix, chosen as the inaugural venue for the first season of Formula Micras and will close, again in Vegno, with the Campoasciutto Grand Prix, on 9 April 2023.

Season summary
Opening Rounds
The first official season of Formula Micras starts in Vegno, where the official headquarters of the MFM is located. In Cossa, in the first qualifying of the season, there is an Enigma Motorsports front row lockout with George Hunt and Florian Schaffnaust in first and second position; in the race, however, the music changes and Harwic Gywion, who started from fifth place, immediately climbs back to the top positions and does not leave the leadership of the grand prix until its conclusion, also scoring the fastest lap. Second position for Samira Khan who comes up from the eighth of the start and completes the podium Hunt, who however started from pole position. Only eight points for the home team Sburo Deliziosa FM Team, with Francesco Giocatore sixth and Michele Spettacolo out of the points.
The situation changes, however, already in Floria, where this time to win in qualifying are both the two cars of the CräiteAuto Grand Prix team, which also in this case occupy the entire front row, while both Sburo Deliziosa FM Team start behind them. In the race, however, everything happens and both Brolt and Herbertson-Panner lose many positions at the start to the advantage of an incredible Max Treuenfeld who begins his climb from sixth position and goes to win the first edition of the Florian Grand Prix accompanied on the podium by Samira Khan, on the second consecutive podium in his career, and Toshio Soma. Only sixth position also in this case for the Titan Motorsports home team.
At Hjardef for the Craitish GP, Treuenfeld gets his second consecutive victory, moving just a few points away from championship leader Khan and directly proposing himself as the first rival of the driver from the Benacian Union. At the next race in Senya however, Trent Cooper triumphed, conquering the first success of his career and entering the fight for the championship, while Treuenfel, thanks to a mistake in the early stages of the race, finished out of the points and lost a gap from the leader . However, the situation changes again in Benacia, where Khan, in his home race, ends up outside the points despite the fastest lap of the race, and the winner for the first time is the Vegnese Spettacolo and immediately behind him complete the podium Cooper and Treuenfeld , who conquers the top of the drivers' championship for the first time this season. The first third of the championship ends in Calbion, where Trent Cooper wins again, overtaking Treuenfeld in the standings, who however ends up on the lowest step of the podium, and takes the lead in the championship standings by just one point. while Khan remains 10 points behind in third place.
Mid-season
Samira Khan's real comeback begins in Mercury who, starting from second place in qualifying, conquers her first victory of the season and returns to the top of the drivers' standings thanks to a serious mistake by Treuenfeld who goes off the track in the first laps and an uphill race for Cooper who has to settle for just one point. In the Thraci Grand Prix, thanks to the second victory of the season, Michele Spettacolo moved into third position in the world standings, overtaking an almost unrecognizable Treuenfeld who only finished fifth, while Cooper, thanks to second place, closed the distances from Khan. In Krasnovlac Cooper takes home his third victory of the season and regains the lead in the drivers' championship, while a bad race in Spettacolo now takes him almost out and far from the fight for the title; Khan, with third place in Novuksola still remains attached to the top. In Etzeland Cooper and Khan close each other and finish first in 4th place and second on the lowest step of the podium, causing only a small change in the world rankings; the winner of the race for the first time in his career is the Tellian Poempresario who, after three pole positions in his curriculum vitae, also gets his first victory of the season. In the two GPs of Phinbella and Forajasaki Samira Khan gets full booty, winning both races with a margin, while Cooper manages to limit the damage in third position in the first GP and is however forced to retire after a bad mistake that leads him to crash into the barriers in the second GP and therefore lose the championship lead with a good 30 points disadvantage.
In Hurmu, after the umpteenth pole position of Scuderia DaeZoom in great strength on the flying lap with Qualcompresario, Vorgen Brolt of CraitAuto takes center stage, who after a complicated start to the season, thanks to the developments brought to the track, manages to conquer the first win for the Craitish team. The two contenders for the world title are only fifth and sixth with cooper recovering only two points from the lead. The last race before the winter break was held in Nouvelle Alexandrie and saw a bad performance from the two protagonists of the world struggle, who both finished outside the points, approached by Qualchempresario and Treuenfeld in the drivers' standings; the winner in this chaotic race is Korespo, the first exciting victory in his career and for the Krasno team Waxhai.
