Other Prisoners
Other former prisoners
- Released as part of a pardon and amnesty for those who had resisted Storrish occupation:
- 662 prisoners of war taken from insurgent groups operating in the Vale of Angularis during the insurgency there.
- 475 persons who were arrested in 1633 under Chapter 3, Article 1: Treachery, of Elwynns Straflov. They had been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in a show trial overseen by the Court of Star Chamber.
- Reported in 1660 to have disappeared under unexplained circumstances during the disorders of the Auspicious Occasion:
- 14,312 members of the Mishalanese Communist Party nomenklatura detained in the year 1650 under the Organization of the Union Act 1640 (Chapter 4, Section 6: Additional Powers) for activities "contrary to the values of Societal Harmony and the pluralism and liberty that is the common right of all mankind and the best reflection of the Grace of the Divinity of the Lady Elwynn Herself".
- After 1650, a vast influx of political prisoners and other undesirables saw the Dragonsfold Gaol expand to the dimensions of a prisoner of war or concentration camp. Privileged prisoners continued to be held within the confines of the old palace complex whilst those less fortunate were incarcerated within the external barbed wire enclosures and set to work building their own barrack huts. The following were eventually "deported" to the Froyalan National Reserve, where the majority perished at the hands of the Konkordskaya Bratva:
- 49,541 recalcitrant Vanic clergy and Froyalaners who refused deportation orders were detained at satellite camps constructed around Dragonsfold.
- 919 senior officers of the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard.
