Johan Anderion Avon-El Ayreon-Kalirion (Йохан Андерион Авон-Ел Аериоон-Калирион, b. 1647 in Eliria; d. 1693 in Cabbagefall) was a Frankish (formerly Elwynnese (until 1681) and Shirerithian soldier (officer) (Imperial Forces, 1663–1672; Union Defence Force, 1671–1680; Imperial Frankish Army, 1681–1685), nobleman, and diplomat. Born into the Ayreon-Kalirion dynasty, he was the son of Ander Avon-El, former prince of the Elwynnese Republic, and is a distant relative of the Kaiseress of Shireroth. His mother was Ristina Marmai, an Elw noblewoman who defected to Stormark and who was believed to have died during the collapse of the Storish regime.

Joining the Imperial Forces in 1663, Johan's close relationship to the Imperial Court and his noble status allowed him to rise in the ranks quickly. By 1671, when he left the Imperial Forces for the Union Defence Force, he had the rank of Tribune Cohortis / Ahmst Tazstraneï (OF-04). His time in the Imperial Forces saw him campaigning in Brookshire following the White Plague, re-establishing order and an imperial presence. Due his dismay, he never served in the Elwynnese civil wars. In 1672, upon the re-establishment of the Union Defence Force by the Provisional Elwynnese Government, he joined this force with the same rank (Överstelöjtnant, OF-04) but was elevated to Överste (OF-05) in 1673, he rank he did not manage to get promoted up from, to his dismay, by the time the Second Amokolian War began in 1678.

Caught on the West Amokolian side of the border following the commencement of the Second Amokolian War his rank in the UDF and familial affinities left him a prime candidate for internment as a prisoner of war during the early days of the conflict, though the Frankish emperor did not treat him so. Instead, Johan was showered with luxuries, kindness and friendship by the Emperor. During his time at Norfae, Johan used his friendship with the Emperor and his lines of communication with the Court of the Prince in order to bring about an end to hostilities. As such, he was instrumental in negotiating the Norfae Peace Treaty which ended the war. He was subsequently appointed Elwynn's ambassador to Francia and Batavia, a posting that he held until late 1680 when he found himself recalled to Eliria. Subsequently assigned to the post of Inspector of USSO Affairs with the Commission of Foreign Affairs. Resigned his position as Inspector shortly thereafter as well as his UDF commission (honourable discharge, ex post facto changed to dishonourable discharge upon Johan's loss of Elwynnese citizenship in 1681).

Named Minister of Agriculture in the congressional government in 1680 as a representative of the Ayreonist Independence Party, but resigned this a few weeks later in protest against the Court of the Prince. Defected to Francia on 2.I.1681, arrived in Brandenburg via Two Martyrs and Helderbourgh two days later. On 10.I.1681, Prince Frederik Haabye Truls revoked the citizenship of Johan Anderion under Section 3:4:3 of the Elwynnese Constitution. The Frankish responded by awarding Johan with Frankish citizenship instead.

On 24.XII.1681 AN, Johan Anderion was appointed Frankish ambassador to Guttuli Protectorate. After an arduous journey, he arrived 224 days later in Gaton.

On 1.I.1685 AN Johan Anderion was honourably discharged as ambassador to Guttuli Protectorate and appointed Commissioner of Foreign Affairs of the Franco-Batavian Empire. He left Gaton immediately in a Gran Verionian flight that took him to Chryse. From Chryse, he flew to Kasterburg (JVH) for refuelling before going north to Brandenburg. He had not been in Francia for five years, and was happy to again be in, what he called it, "civilization".

As his first official overseas trip as commissioner of foreign affairs, he attended the Funeral of Kaiser Ayreon IV in Shirekeep on 8.III.1685. After it, with relations breaking down even more between Franco-Batavia and Shireroth, he was arrested prior to leaving the country, reportedly on the orders of the Kaiseress herself. He was subsequently charged with "crimes to conspire to support the genocidal regime in the Lower Elwynn". He was found guilty, and sentenced to house arrest for twenty-five years, in consideration of his noble rank. While the Imperial Government had considered to strip him of his nobility and caste-shame him for treason, the Court did not consider charges outside the Guttuli War. As such, there were no grounds to remove Johan Anderion from the nobility. Further, the Court considered the demonic Vanic influence as a mitigating factor, considering that he had, at the very least, at times, possessed demonically. For that reason, the Court, headed by Cassian Holly-Wythe, ruled that twenty-five years, with consideration of time served, would be a proportional punishment with regard to the noble dignity of the accused. His house arrest is served in a fully staffed spacious townhouse in Cabbagefall, the deed of which is since his parents deaths fully in his name. Johan Anderion was set to be released in 1710.

On 17.IX.1693, Johan Anderion was taken ill with abdominal pain and brought to hospital. He was diagnosed with kidney stones and prescribed a diet with less sodium. Before his discharge, Johan Anderion was called upon by a Doctor Menning Cryptsinger, a nutritionist tasked to provide him with some parting advise regarding his diet. Unfortunately for Johan, the good doctor, owing to certain familial connections, was held on a retainer by the Benacian Directorate of the Honourable Company. It was Johan's misfortune that, when Doctor Cryptsinger conversationally offered him a nice cup of herbal tea, he accepted. The stomach cramps began later the same day on 21.IX.1693. Johan experienced severe diarrhoea and vomiting over the next six days. At one point, he could not walk without assistance. As the pain intensified he appealed to his guards to once more return him to he hospital. In contrast to the alacrity with which his request had been granted on the first occasion, the officers charged with supervising his house arrest appeared hesitant and advised that the request would have to be reported to higher authority. As his condition deteriorated Johan noted with alarm that his retained staff, with whom he had become familiar, were being replaced. His guards however informed him that he was being delusional. Johan, by now physically weak, spent lengthy periods of his final day unconscious, watched over by staff members whom he claimed to no longer recognise in his diminishing lucid waking periods. Finally at 10.47pm on 3.X.1693 Johan's heart gave out. His cause of death being reported to the Imperial Court in Raynor's Keep as complications arising from undiagnosed heart disease. A written application was submitted to the Imperial Judex for Johan's remains to be cremated without further autopsy. The application was drafted and signed by a certain Doctor Menning Cryptsinger.

In Shireroth, he was styled and titled His Imperial Highness Lord Johan Anderion Avon-El Ayreon-Kalirion, Knight of the Holy Lakes, Scion of the King of Kings.
