The Department of Education, Culture, and Sports is the federal department responsible for policies relating to education, culture, arts, religion, sports, and tourism in Nouvelle Alexandrie. Formed through the merger of the former Department of Education and Department of Culture and Sports in 1718 AN, the department oversees the Federation's educational system from early childhood through higher education, promotes cultural development and preservation, and fosters growth in sports, entertainment, and tourism industries.

The department collects data on New Alexandrian schools and enforces federal educational laws regarding privacy and civil rights. It administers national policies and programs that provide access to quality and affordable education at all levels, while simultaneously managing major cultural institutions including the National Museum system, Royal National Theater, Federal Library, and the Ciudad de los Deportes sports complex.

The department is headed by a Secretary of Education, Culture, and Sports, who is appointed by the King on the advice of the President of the Government. The Secretary serves as a member of the Council of State.

The Department of Education, Culture, and Sports maintains dual headquarters: educational operations are centered at East Meadow Tower Building in the Government Triangle neighborhood of Cárdenas, while cultural and sports operations are headquartered at the Marco Zimmer Government Building in the Colonne de la Forêt neighborhood. The consolidated department was established following the 1718 AN administrative reforms under Felipe de Almagro to improve coordination between education, cultural development, and sports promotion.
