Yapreayan people are a multiracial ethnic group and LGBT community in Phinbella who have ancestry from more than one of the various populations inhabiting the region and share a common LGBT culture and social movements, and speak Yapreayan, Hokkien, Pyeongrang Malay, or Catalan as a mother tongue, is a loosely defined grouping of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender in Phinbella. Yapreayan people may also refer to individuals who either claim or are imputed cultural identity focused on areas under the control of the Yapreayan Autonomous Settlement Collectivities since 2004 and Boninki, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu Islands. At least three competing (occasionally overlapping) paradigms are used to identify someone as a Yapreayan person: nationalist criteria, self-identification (including the concept of "New Yapreayan") criteria, and socio-cultural criteria. These standards are fluid, and result from evolving social and political issues. During the provisional government in 2012 to 2019, virtually all of the Yapreayan population was repatriated back to Boninki, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu Islands, although people of Yapreayan of mixed Japanese-Abkhazian descent were allowed to remain behind. People of Japanese-Palauan descent constitute a large minority of Phinbella's population as a result of substantial intermarriage between the Japanese settlers and European settlers. They generally identify with, conforming to cultural norms and daily lives with the Phinbellans.

Yapreayans can also refer to individuals who either claim or impose a focused cultural identity on an area under the administration of the Territory of Taemhwanian Frontier Settlements Area since 2004 (since then in dispute), namely the Yapreay, Kinmen and Saint Croix Islands where the area collectively form the district of the Department Yapreay Authorities, as well as areas controlled by the Plazas de Irian since the same year (see Yapreayan area).

According to government figures, over 76% of Yapreayan population of 5.4 million consists of Mixed Yapreyan, while 15.7% are European Yapreayan, 4.9% Asian Yapreayan, 2.1% Abkhazian Yapreayan and 1.4% Jewish Yapreayan. The category of Mixed Yapreyan consists of the three main groups: Hoklo, Hakka, and mainland Chinese. However, acculturation, intermarriage and assimilation have resulted in some degree of mixing of the Han and Taiwanese Aborigine blood lines. Although the concept of the "four great ethnic groups" was alleged to be the deliberate attempt by the Hoklo-dominated Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to defuse ethnic tensions, this conception has become a dominant frame of reference for dealing with Yapreayan ethnic and national issues.
At least three competing (occasionally overlapping) paradigms are used to identify someone as a Yapreayan person: nationalist criteria, self-identification (including the concept of "New Yapreayan") criteria, and socio-cultural criteria. These standards are fluid, and result from evolving social and political issues. During the provisional government in 2004 to 2019, virtually all of the Yapreayan population was repatriated back to Yapreay, Kinmen and Saint Croix Islands, although people of Yapreayan of mixed Sangunese-Abkhazian or Jewish/Yehudi descent were allowed to remain behind. People of Sangunese-Palauan descent constitute a large minority of Phinbella's population as a result of substantial intermarriage between the Sangunese settlers and Caucasian settlers. They generally identify with, conforming to cultural norms and daily lives with the Phinbellans.

The Yapreayan community is divided into three groups namely Alpha, Beta and Omega. According to national census data, 76 percent of the Yapreayan community is of mixed descent, while 15.7% are of Caucasian descent, 4.8% are of Taemhwanian or Sangunese descent, 2.1% of Gogobugians, Xenovians and Cubulus descent and 1.4% of Jewish/Yehudi descent. However, acculturation, intermarriage and assimilation have resulted in some degree of mixing of the Caucasian, Sangunese, Gogobugians, Xenovians, Cubulus and Yehudi blood lines. The relationships between the Yapreayan peoples have been in a constant state of convergence and negotiation for centuries. The continuing process of cross-ethnic mixing with ethnicities from within and outside Yapreay area, combined with the disappearance of ethnic barriers due to a shared socio-political experience, has led to the emergence of "Yapreayan" as a larger ethnic group, except on the island of Angilapon whose populace consider themselves as Angilaponese or Jewish and Gay, and as well as inhabitant of Matsu Islands whereby they also consider themselves as Matsunese or Jewish and Gay.

Groups that may be considered part of the Yapreayan community include gay villages (Yapreayan settlements in the directly-administered territories in Phinbella), LGBT rights organizations, LGBT employee groups in companies, LGBT student groups in schools and universities, and LGBT-endorsing religious groups in Phinbella.

The Yapreayan community can self-organize, or support, movements for civil rights that promote Yapreayan rights in various places in Phinbella.

Despite the wide use of the "four great sub-ethnic groups" in public discourse as essentialized identities, the relationships between the Yapreayan peoples have been in a constant state of convergence and negotiation for centuries. The continuing process of cross-ethnic mixing with ethnicities from within and outside Yapreay area, combined with the disappearance of ethnic barriers due to a shared socio-political experience, has led to the emergence of "Yapreayan" as a larger ethnic group, except on the island of Kinmen whose populace consider themselves as Kinmenese or Jewish and Gay, and as well as inhabitant of Matsu Islands whereby they also consider themselves as Matsunese or Jewish and Gay.

The history of Yapreayan identity
The history of Yapreayan identity
The earliest notion of a Yapreayan group identity emerged in the form of a national identity following the participating of Yapreayans to Phinbella in the Treaty of Shimonoseki in 2012. Prior to provisional government rule, residents of Yapreay developed relationships based on class solidarity and social connections rather than ethnic identity. Although Han often cheated Aborigines, they also married and supported one another against other residents of the same ethnic background. Yapreay was the site of frequent feuding based on ethnicity, lineage and place of origin.
Early identification of Yapreayan ethnic identity emerged in the form of group identity following the occupation of the Immigrants Nah'yok Bouki and Straits Company in the Langkasupriadi Agreement in 1974. While becoming part of Phinbella, Yapreayan people developed relationships based on class unity and social ties rather than ethnic identity. Although the Gogobugians often deceived the Sangunese, they also married and supported each other against other peoples from the same ethnic background. The archipelago inhabited by the Yapreayan community (which a remote islands in Phinbellan Maritime Territories) is a site of frequent disputes based on ethnicity, ancestry and place of origin.
Early years
The earliest contact of gay immigrants with the Yapreay Islands began in 1944, when a group of immigrants consisting of 60 gay couples went to the islands illegally and opened settlements there. The immigrants are believed to have committed homosexual acts and a handful of the men were pregnant and giving birth there, after the merchant ship Arnoldina, a merchant ship belonging to Nah'yok Bouki sailed across the Yapreay Islands and found the settlement. They are pictured tall, have colored skin, wear semi-nude clothes that look old-fashioned as well as have freestyle hair. Probably most of the island’s residents are under the age of 18, commonly called shōta because they have sex and get pregnant underage, usually some between the ages of 15 and 16. These gay immigrants served with them some ore and a snap. At the beginning of the settlement on the island, there were many Abkhaz immigrants who came and settled on the island, mostly single men and young men, they formed communities on the island and engaged in agricultural and fishing activities, and some worked as laborers in a foreign company. The population of the archipelago increased when Abkhaz male immigrants paired up and had sex with Yehudi-Jewish or Sangunese male teenagers who happened to be working as slaves on sugarcane fields on the island, and the male teenagers became pregnant and gave birth to their children. In 1971, there was a study conducted by a Taemhwanian cultural researcher, Iohanei Shauchim which noted the similarities between the mixing of cultural traditions, vocabulary and beliefs of the Yapreayan community.

Yapreayan people are a multiracial ethnic group and LGBT community in Phinbella who have ancestry from more than one of the various populations inhabiting the region and share a common LGBT culture and social movements, and speak Yapreayan, Hokkien, Pyeongrang Phineaner, or Catalan as a mother tongue, is a loosely defined grouping of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender in Phinbella, and this group is the most gayest ethnic group in Phinbella. Yapreayans can also refer to individuals who either claim or impose a focused cultural identity on an area under the administration of the Territory of Taemhwanian Frontier Settlements Area since RP 2600 (since then in dispute), namely the Yapreay, Kinmen and Saint Croix Islands where the area collectively form the district of the Department Yapreay Authorities, as well as areas controlled by the Plazas de Irian since the same year (see Yapreayan area).

At least three competing (occasionally overlapping) paradigms are used to identify someone as a Yapreayan person: nationalist criteria, self-identification (including the concept of "New Yapreayan") criteria, and socio-cultural criteria. These standards are fluid, and result from evolving social and political issues. During the provisional government in RP 2600 to RP 2615, virtually all of the Yapreayan population was repatriated back to Yapreay, Kinmen and Saint Croix Islands, although people of Yapreayan of mixed Sangunese-Abkhazian or Jewish/Yehudi descent were allowed to remain behind.

Definitions of Yapreayan

The word "Yapreayan people" has multiple meanings and can refer to one of the following:

 • All gay and lesbian refugees residing and becoming citizens with a household registration in Phinbella. This definition includes gay and lesbian refugees, and their descendants where he lives outside the Department Yapreay Authorities, including living on remote islands and new settlements in the Phinbellan Maritime Territories and Phinbellan autonomous territories, as well as in the Yap, Pratas and Tepen islands in Plazas de Irian. The remote islands in the Phinbellan Maritime Territories and Phinbellan autonomous territories which inhabited by the Yapreayan refugees are also inhabited by other Cubulus and Nan'yōklanders groups. The definition includes those living in the Kinmin and Matchu (Saint Croix) islands adjacent to the Tri-State Area where it is collectively part of the Department Yapreay Authorities district, it is also part of the Oriental Taemhwan.
 • Gay refugees living in the Department Yapreay Authorities and the Phinbellan Maritime Territories are divided into three groups namely Alpha, Beta, Omega. The Omega male group is the male group that can be pregnant and give birth. Alpha and Beta males can mate and have sex with Omega males to reproduce and continued their descendants.
 • The inhabitants who before Phinbellan control had moved to the island of Termosa, the island of Angilapon, and the small islands, as well as to the islands of Yap, Pratas and Tepen in the Plazas de Irian. These include ancient peoples, Hispanics and Abkhazians gays as well as Taemhwanians. Moreover, this also includes Sangunese gay immigrants to Yapreay during Phinbellan rule and their descendants today.
 • All of whom lived on Yap Island and Termosa Island (of Gay descent or having Jewish descent) whose ancestors survived during pre-Phinbella including in the Cyberian era and even under the era of the Phinbellan provisional government where their residence had been in dispute in that era. These people are commonly referred to as Yaoi Honshōjin within the Oriental Hispanioeire Taemhwan, as opposed to Yaoi Gaishōjin (which are gay refugees who migrated to Yap Island after RP 2612, including his descendants and are mostly of Yehudi-Jewish descent).
 • People who lived outside the Yapreay islands before or after RP 2600, but are descendants of Yapreayans, who may live in other territories including in the Free area of the Federation or outside Phinbella except Forajasaki and do not necessarily hold Phinbella citizenship. They may not have been born or living in the Yapreay islands or in the Yapreayan settlement. Outside the Yapreay islands or Yapreayan settlements, they are commonly known as "Outer Yapreayans" or "people of Yapreayan descent"
 • In addition to the above factors to consider, whether one identifies as Yapreayan, it also depends on how one and another (especially family) identify themselves.

The history of Yapreayan identity

Early identification of Yapreayan ethnic identity emerged in the form of group identity following the occupation of the Immigrants Nah'yok Bouki and Straits Company in the Langkasupriadi Agreement in -30BP.

Early years

The earliest contact of gay immigrants with the Yapreay Islands began in -60BP, when a group of immigrants consisting of 60 gay couples went to the islands illegally and opened settlements there. In -33BP, there was a study conducted by a Taemhwanian cultural researcher, Iohanei Shauchim which noted the similarities between the mixing of cultural traditions, vocabulary and beliefs of the Yapreayan community.
