The funeral of Siw Stai took place on 24.I.1742. First, there was a ceremony at ten o'clock in the morning, in the Church of Saint Agata in Zeebrugge, while bells were tolling all over Aemilian Alrig, across all of the Aemilian Federation and Hurmu even. The funeral was intended to celebrate the life of Siw Stai, who had been born in Sårensby, Normark, but who had spent so much of her life in Sankt Ludwigshafen and then Aemilia and who was extremely beloved. More than four thousand people attended the funeral, almost thousand people could fit in the church, and over three thousand people were following the ceremony in the church's courtyard on large television screens that were put there. Among the attendants were diplomats, politicians, nobility and celebrities, from Aemilia, Hurmu, and from all over Micras.

Following this, a smaller ceremony for about one-hundred people (of which some family and some dignitaries) took place in the crematorium of Zeebrugge, where the body of Siw Stai was committed to eternity in the rites of the Hurmu religion.
