The Lanzerwald national football team is the conditional football team which will represent the micronation of Lanzerwald. It will be a member of the CTFA, and will be run by the Association for Football and Sport in the Lanzerwald. The team will be the official successor of Sankt Ludwigshafen and as such will retain its records.
History
The team was founded in mid-2022 after the foundation of Lanzerwald as the successor state to Sankt Ludwigshafen. As Sankt Ludwigshafen, the team finished fourth in their group in the 2021 World Cup qualifiers before improving to place second in their CiboTap 2022 qualifying group, which advanced them to a successful play-off appearance and a subsequent first CiboTap finals.
