The Goëtia national football team was the football team which represented the micronation of Goëtia. It was a member of the CTFA.
History
The team was founded in late 2018 after Goëtia's Micrasian claim was successful. They first competed in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, where they could only finish bottom of their five-team group with a sole point to their name. Soon afterwards, the team competed in the 2019 Emerging Nations Cup, beating Phinbella on penalties before losing twice to place fourth.
In the following year's CiboTap qualifiers, the team finished bottom of their four-team group after losing all of their matches; a record that invited them to a second Emerging Nations Cup. In the Emerging Nations Cup, the team won their quarter-final 3–0 over Inner Benacia and their semi-final 2–1 over Jääland before losing 3–0 in the final to hosts the Two Martyrs.
In the 2021 FMF World Cup qualification rounds, the team finished bottom of their six-team group with five points and gained a place in the Emerging Nations Cup for a third time. In the Emerging Nations Cup, they narrowly won both their quarter-final and semi-final before losing 1–0 to Jääland to finish as runners-up for the second consecutive year. Goëtia left Micras soon afterwards.
Goëtia returned to Micras in mid-2021 before leaving once again later in the year, but did not rejoin the FMF during this time.
