The station was established on 20 September 1981 and is the second KBS station in the PES region after Shandānø'kaí. The broadcasting branch office is located more than 2 kilometers from the center of the territory's capital, Singapore Street, precisely at Lot 30-4 Majonjungang-ro, Boulevard Hatashio Itsushirou Flynn, Losong Pak Tahiu Timor Neighborhood, Losong District. The KBS Singapore Street Broadcasting Branch Office operates three local radio stations and a local television station in Kōkai where it broadcasts to cover the entire territory of Kōkai and its surroundings including the whole of Heijō city, the northern part of Shandānø'kaí and a small part of Høkō city, and also covers a small part of western Béihagh island, a small part of the southern Rocher region and some areas east of Kong Tang, Banh Nam.
