The Imperial Federation took part in Microvision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Ready to Die" by Andrew W.K. The song is sung in Istvanistani. This act was performed fourteenth in this year's contest.
The song talks about how the country is enjoying a state of victory following a string of profound, historic success. Although the empire finds itself overextended in terms of maritime territory, it nonetheless enjoys historically high morale. Being the default successor to the old Ralgon state, the Imperial Federation chose this song officially for the aforementioned reasons. On the streets, however, one will easily encounter the (likely true) rumor that the song was voted as a dunk on Valora, whose defeat at the hands of Imperial forces after 1706 was a mortal blow to its national pride.
