History
Foundation
FC Kantisha was established in 2019 as a football club representing Metoek and the wider island of Kantisha. The club developed as an important sporting institution for the local population, providing opportunities for footballers from the island and neighbouring communities.
The name "Kantisha" reflects the club's connection to its home island, while the nickname "Pars" became an important part of its sporting identity. From its foundation, the club sought to establish a competitive football organisation capable of participating in regional and national football competitions.
The Second Civil War and exile
The history of FC Kantisha was significantly influenced by the Second Civil War. During the conflict, political instability and security concerns forced the club to leave its home island and temporarily relocate its football operations to Kadim.
The relocation disrupted the club's sporting activities and separated the team from its traditional home ground and supporters. Despite these difficulties, FC Kantisha continued to operate, maintaining a senior squad and preserving its identity as a representative of Kantisha. The experience of exile became an important part of the club's collective memory.
Territorial changes
The political status of Kantisha changed during the years following the club's foundation. Transfers of the island between different national jurisdictions affected the football competitions in which FC Kantisha was able to participate.
The club consequently experienced periods of transition between different football structures. Throughout these changes, the organisation maintained its identity, name and connection to Metoek.
Return to Çakari football
FC Kantisha eventually became part of the national football structure administered by the Çakaristan Football Federation. The club competed in the original Çakari Football League, establishing itself as one of the recognised professional football teams of Çakaristan. The experience gained during periods of exile and political uncertainty contributed to the club's reputation for resilience and determination.
2025–26: National runners-up
The 2025–26 season marked an important achievement in the club's history. FC Kantisha finished second in the national championship, behind Agra Sultans FC and ahead of FC Manbai.
The result was one of the club's most significant achievements in the national competition and confirmed its position among the leading football teams in Çakaristan.
Expansion of the national league
In 2026, the Çakaristan Football Federation introduced a comprehensive restructuring of professional football. The former top-tier Çakari Football League was renamed the Çakari Super League and expanded from eight to 24 clubs.
FC Kantisha retained its place in the highest division and entered the 2026–27 season as the previous season's runners-up. The expansion introduced new opponents from across Çakaristan and provided the club with an opportunity to strengthen its position in national football.
Development of women's football
FC Kantisha developed a women's senior football section during the expansion of women's football in Çakaristan in 2024. The establishment of the team was associated with initiatives promoting women's participation in football and the creation of the Çakaristan national women's football team.
The women's section developed its own playing squad and coaching staff while remaining part of FC Kantisha. Three players, Kajal Mehta, Pooja Singh and Anisa Rahimi, were included in the national women's team squad for the 2025 Tea Cup. In 2026, the women's team became one of sixteen founding participants in the Çakari Women's Football League.

FC Kantisha is a professional association football club based in Metoek, in the Kantisha and Northak Islands of Çakaristan. Founded in 2019, the club operates both men's and women's senior football teams.

Nicknamed the Pars, FC Kantisha has a history shaped by the changing political circumstances of its home island. During the Second Civil War, the club was forced to play in exile in Kadim. Subsequent territorial changes also affected its participation in domestic football competitions. The club's traditional home ground is Kantisha Stadium in Metoek, which has a capacity of 30,000 spectators.

The men's team competes in the Çakari Super League, the highest division of men's professional football in Çakaristan. The women's team participates in the Çakari Women's Football League. The men's team is coached by Chatur Panja, while the women's section is managed by Shirin Mehta.

The women's team has contributed several players to the Çakaristan national women's football team, including Kajal Mehta, Pooja Singh and Anisa Rahimi.

History

On 2 October 2024, the stadium was the venue for a friendly match between Çakaristan and Floria, which the visitors won 4–0. The ground is an important sporting venue for Metoek and the wider Kantisha region.

Exile in Kadim
