Ingrid Djupvik, the granddaughter of Patrik Djupvik, is a Hurmu diplomat and noblewoman. Ambassador of the Order of the Holy Lakes to the Benacian Union (1751– ). Secretary of State for External Relations (1740–1746; also 1734–1736), Minister of Education (1746–1751), Senator of the Lakes (1733–1736; 1746– ). Consul in Raspur, Constancia (1719–1728), ambassador to the Xäiville Convention (1728–1733).
She survived the sinking of the Biternion in 1735, but her husband and children died in it. She consequently resigned from the Senate and the secretariaton 4.I.1736. Her seat in the Senate was filled by Mikhail Maksimilianov-Shvinnskiy, Count of Schwinn. Re-elected to the Senate in 1745 for the Ayreonist List. Following the collapse of the Ayreonist List in 1751 Senate of the Lakes elections, she resigned with immediate effect from the position of Minister of Education. She vowed, however, to remain in the Senate for the duration of the Fourteenth Senate, citing the confidence her voters in the previous election placed in her. She was subsequently appointed Hurmu's ambassador to the Benacian Union. Ahead of her taking the position, she found herself subject to scheduled interviews with the External Service of the Benacian Union, Benacian Censorate, Commission for the Panopticon, and the Magisters-Carnifex. Authorities in Chryse assured Huyenkula that these would be mere formalities intended to ensure her safety and comfort.
All proceeded uneventfully until IV.1753 AN when a scuffle occurred on the streets of Chryse as her entourage was set upon and bludgeoned by cudgellers and zealots from the Magisters-Carnifex. During the affray Ingrid had been snatched away. Days later a video was distributed via the Benacian Data Network wherein Ingrid announced, of her own free will, that she had been negotiating her defection to the Union-State in the months following the signing of the Apollonian–Benacian Community.
