The 1740 AN/RP 2621 Phinbellan presidential election (Phineaner: Pilihanraya Presiden Phinbella 2621/1740; Taesongean: 2621/1740년 핀벨라의 대통령 선거; RR: 2621/1740-nyeon Phinbella-ui Daetongnyeong Seon-geo) is scheduled to be held in Phinbella by 1740 AN or January RP 2621 to elect the next president of Phinbella.
Background
The President of Phinbella is the ceremonial head of state but is paid a term salary of ðƒ3.8 million, and is subject to periodic White Paper reviews. The incumbent President, Muhammad Furkorn Mat Jeen, held the position for two terms and won the presidential election in RP 2618, defeating four other candidates, and in August RP 2619, he won unopposed after no suitable candidate came forward to replace him. He is the president of the Phinbellan Aborigines of the Toromuan tribe. As he also currently holds the position of senator for Phineonesian faction in the Senate of the Lakes, he will consider his position after stepping down as the President.
