Greater Floria officially known as the Vanguard Imperium of Greater Floria and simply as Floria, is a totalitarian one-party state nation in Central Southern Apollonia. Established following the Second Florian Civil War, it has been governed by the Florian National Vanguard Party (FNVP) led by Supreme Leader Victor Kessler since TBD. Under the leadership of Kessler, the party's regime upholds an ultranationalist, humanly supremacist ideology known as Vanguard Humanism. Despite heavy international condemnation, Greater Floria remains a major industrial and military power in Micrasian geopolitics.
The modern Vanguard state was established following the Second Florian Civil War, which resulted in the collapse of the previous federal system. The Florian National Vanguard Party, under the leadership of Supreme Leader Victor Kessler, seized power after overthrowing former President Ronald Trueman Junior in a swift post-war coup. Former members of the UPR and the Social Democratic Party of Floria were exiled or eliminated, as the FNVP moved quickly to eradicate political opposition and centralise authority. A TBD referendum, initially presented as a democratic presidential election, resulted in Kessler’s confirmation as Supreme Leader, effectively institutionalising the one-party Vanguard regime.
In the aftermath of the civil war, the Imperium pursued a program of militarization, economic reconstruction, and vast public infrastructure projects to reassert its national strength. It has since made a series of aggressive geopolitical claims, particularly targeting unincorporated or disputed territories within The Green across Micras.
Greater Floria is heavily urbanized, with approximately 85% of its population residing in large or medium-sized cities. Its "Metropolitan" regions—primarily located in the more developed southern and central areas—are densely populated and economically advanced. In contrast, large swaths of northern Floria consist of tropical rainforest and desert terrain. By population, Floria is the fourth most populous nation in Apollonia and ranks seventh globally on Micras.
Historically, the region was inhabited by ethnic Jingdaoese communities. These aboriginal groups were eventually displaced during Floria's early expansionist period, with many forced to repatriate to the mainland. Floria also played a significant role in the SANE–USSO War of the 1650s, following the alleged assassination of Nikolaj I of Coria, an incident attributed to Florian involvement. This triggered a catastrophic global conflict, leaving Floria economically devastated and under international sanctions. Despite this, the nation rebounded rapidly and has since emerged as a global financial and military superpower.
Today, the Vanguard Imperium is one of the most economically and militarily powerful nations on Micras. It boasts a high GDP per capita, a technologically advanced industrial base, and one of the strongest national currencies in the world. Its armed forces are among the largest and well equipped globally. The nation’s assertive foreign policy, centralised political system, and emphasis on national pride have made it a dominant though controversial force in the Micrasian geopolitical landscape.

Greater Floria is a unitary one-party dictatorship led by the Florian National Vanguard Party. The Supreme Leader holds absolute executive, legislative, and military power. The FNVP maintains control through mass surveillance, state propaganda, militarization of civil society, and a cult of personality around Kessler.
