The Union Jing Broadcast, was meant as a merger between the Batavian Broadcasting Company and several smaller Jingdaoese media outlets, is a media corporation. Batavian chauvinists protested the deal and it eventually fell through. The UJB eventually took over some of the BBC's assets (and certain broadcasting rights) within Batavia. It broadcasted programs in Union territories, as well as in Batavia. With the Fortuitous Immolation the UJB became increasingly active in pro-Shirerithian propaganda. Attempts to use it as proponent of the Raspur Pact as a whole were mostly thwarted and the television programs remain staunchly anti-Florian in rhetorics.
The company has been a pioneer in micronational broadcasts, as well as the main party to film and broadcast coronation ceremonies of Batavian monarchs.
Televised News Broadcasts (Shiro-Jing News Broadcast)
In true Jingdaoese fashion, the Shiro-Jing News Broadcast is extremely patriotic and chauvinistic, making it seem - for those less enlightened and blessed - like a less reliable news source. This, however, has been debunked by several officials of the Ministry of Information, who certainly did not receive bribes.
