The Task Force Eesdeheito (1696 AN–1700 AN) was a volunteer formation, drawn from willing elements the Hurmu Peace Corps, Hurmu Constabulary, ESB-Jagdverbände, and the 5th Vanguard Division, assembled for service in Eesdeheito in support of joint Hurmu–Lac Glacei pacification efforts.
The Task Force would be equipped as mounted infantry, supported by a battery of field guns, armoured cars, and land cruisers, formed into three mobile columns geared towards cross-country operations alongside a fourth HQ and supply column.
As befitting an expedition of Hurmu, the task force would be commanded by a member of the senatorial class of the Order of the Holy Lakes, in this instance Ardashir Bābakān-e Osman was nominated for the role, while the columns would be commanded by representatives of the knightly class of the order. Members of the order chosen for command positions by Ardashir were selected from the House of Einhorn for their experience of campaigning in wilderness conditions, and from the White Band of the Eastern Ulus of the Silver Yak Horde for their affinity with the peoples and culture of Eesdeheito.

Operations
Hurmu was never a country blessed with a notable military tradition, indeed to this very day the armed forces at its disposal bear the moniker of “Peace Corps” in deference to the ancient Hurmu tradition of pacifism.
And yet such traditions had their limit. The Peace Corps was to have teeth, and to be capable of mounting a stout defence of the homeland. The bonanza of confiscated war booty, armoured vehicles, weapons, and munitions, confiscated from the belligerents in the Second Elwynnese Civil War had given the force the start it needed in terms of equipment, while the Peace Academy and generous recruitment and retention payments had set the Corps on the path towards becoming a professional force formed upon trained cadres. However, when the decision was made in 1696 AN to dispatch a task force to join the northern pacification efforts of Lac Glacei in the joint Condominium it was not yet within the gift of the Peace Corps to assemble and deploy a formation formed wholly from its own assets – too many were still in various stages of training, or else awaiting vital pieces of uniform and kit.
Instead, the Senatorial Committee for the Hurmu Peace Corps, called upon the Honourable Company, the Hurmu Constabulary, and the Vanguard Division of the Coalition for Democratic Humanism to furnish volunteers, along with such items of equipment and stores as the Peace Corps might presently have been lacking.
The task force continued its operations until 1700 AN when it was stood down and replaced by the 4th Division of the Special Auxiliary Constabulary.
