Ségolène Vigouroux (born 1663 AN) is a New Alexandrian career diplomat who serves as Deputy Secretary of State, the second-ranking official in the Department of State, a position to which she was appointed by Secretary Victoria Montalbán in 1748 AN.
Born in Beauharnais, Alduria, Vigouroux joined the federal diplomatic corps following the Proclamation of Punta Santiago in 1685 AN. Her distinguished career spans nearly five decades, including positions as Political Officer in Natopia (1706 AN-1712 AN), Deputy Chief of Mission in Shireroth (1712 AN-1719 AN), Director of Northern Affairs (1719 AN-1727 AN), and most notably as Ambassador to Hurmu from 1727 AN to 1748 AN, where she served for 21 years across multiple governments.
As Deputy Secretary of State, she oversees day-to-day operations of the department and coordinates policy implementation across regional bureaus, playing a crucial role in restoring diplomatic stability following the Mercurio intelligence scandal. A non-partisan career civil servant fluent in Wechua, Elw, Alexandrian, Martino, Norse, and Istvanistani, Vigouroux has received the Distinguished Service Medal for her contributions to strengthening Raspur Pact cooperation and advancing New Alexandrian diplomatic interests.
