The University of Punta Santiago (UPS) is a prestigious public research university located in Punta Santiago, Alduria, in the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Founded in 1675 AN, it is one of the oldest and most esteemed higher education institutions in Nouvelle Alexandrie, renowned for its rigorous academic programs, distinguished faculty, and significant contributions to research and public service.

Campuses
Central Campus
The Central Campus is located in the University District of Punta Santiago, a part of the barrio of Les Artistes, and is 5 km southwest to the Campos Business District. It has a dedicated area of over 12 km2 and a total of 45 buildings, of which 10 are residence halls and 25 are campus classrooms/departments, with the remaining 10 are auxiliary or office space used to support the campus. The campus is mostly pedestrian, with dedicated streets and green spaces, including 5 km of University Gardens.
Central Hall
The Central Hall is located at the very heart of the Campus, and is home to multiple Dining Halls and administrative buildings, as well as the large Commencement Hall used for opening and graduation. It is known for its classical architecture, with ornate façade and colonnades. Indoors, it is dominated by the large Entry Hall, a massive rectangular hall that connects to lecture halls, office spaces, and the Main Dining Hall. The Central Hall is home to three faculties as well: the Faculty of Educational Science, Faculty of History, and Faculty of Geography.
Main Dining Hall
The Main Dining hall is the secondary focal point of the Central Hall, having space for over 1,500 people. It is lined with massive dining tables that stretch from front to back. Marble collonades and frescoes depict historical events in Nouvelle Alexandrie, with the centerpiece being behind the Dean's Table in the back, depicting the signing of the Proclamation of Punta Santiago. It is used both for morning announcements and as a meeting space for students.
Commencement Hall
Directly beside the Main Dining Hall is the smaller Commencement Hall, where the annual graduation ceremony is held with great attendance. During this ceremony, graduates pass through the podium receiving their diploma in traditional garments, with a Valedictorian address from the highest-ranking student and the address by the University Director before that. Study Year Opening and Closing ceremonies are also held here. During the rest of the year, the hall is used for Guest Lectures, for which the University invites scientists, politicians, and businessmen from across Micras. The most famous of these is the annual 'Alejandro Campos Honourary Lecture'.
Library
The University Library is the main research library for the University, and stands only second to the University of Cárdenas in terms of collections and citations. The building is located adjacent to the Central Hall, and offers students extensive support in their research needs. The building is a total of 3,000 m2 with a height of 10 m, with four floors of bookshelves and desks. The library has a major study area in the center, with high bookshelves surrounding it, as well as small niches on the upper floors. The interior is lined with ornate wooden panels, depicting historical figures and respected alumni; as well as large windows to allow for natural light.
Science Faculty Building
The Science Faculty Building hosts most of the faculties involved in scientific education. These include the Faculties of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, and Computer Sciences. It has a total of 28 labs of variable configuration, and a further 10 classrooms. Due to the nature of the building, it is constructed of weaponised concrete and glass, and is certified for lab safety.
Arts Faculty Building
The Arts Faculty Building houses the faculties concerned with literature, art, and media. These include the Faculties of Language Studies, Media, and Fine Arts. It has 4 labs and workshops of variable configuration, and a further 16 classrooms. The building is also known for its major Art Gallery showing works of students and alumni. The building is recognisable for its ornate marble façade.
Social Sciences Building
The Social Sciences Building houses the faculties concerned with social sciences. These include the Faculties of Politics, Social Studies, Law, Philosophy, and Anthropology & Archaeology. Is has a total of 20 classrooms, and is also known for the University Archaeological Museum and Research Center. It is recognisable for its large stone façade reminiscent of the Library building.
Biosciences Building
The Biosciences Building hosts the faculties concerned with health and maritime sciences. These include the Faculties of Pharmacy, Nursing and Physiotherapy, Pediatrics, Psychology; Ecology, and Maritime Biology. It has 20 classrooms, as well as 10 labs of variable configuration. It is also well-known for its University Health Research Center.

Research
The University of Punta Santiago is well-known for its major research program, which involves over €350 million in annual budget for fundamental, applied, and biological research. It has a total of eight dedicated research institutes, ranging from Life Sciences, Civil Engineering, to History.
Aldurian History Institute
The Aldurian History Institute (Alexandrian: Institute d'Histoire d'Alduria, IHA) is a major research facility dedicated to the research, conservation, and dissemination of the national history of Alduria, especially its Babkhan and Alexandrian heritage. It collaborates closely with the Académie Alexandrin.
University Maritime Institute
The University Maritime Institute (Alexandrian: Institute Maritime Universitaire, IMU) is a major research facility connected to the Biosciences Building. It is well-known for its Animal Sanctuary and Healthcare Center, which works to rescue and rehabilitate endangered marine animals. It collaborates closely with the Institute for Maritime Research.

Transport
Main Campus
The University of Punta Santiago is part of a major transit hub of the same name. It has a dedicated Metro stop directly in front of the Central Hall, as well as three Streetcar stops - one beside the Central Hall, one at the Politics Building, and one at the Maritime Institute. Bus routes also converge at the University Transit hub, with six dedicated lines passing through the district with a total of 10 dedicated stops - Line 45 is a Local Line that serves the University district itself.
