Victoria Elena Montalbán y Sotomayor (born 14.IV.1682 AN) is a New Alexandrian diplomat and retired military officer who served as Secretary of State of Nouvelle Alexandrie from 1744 AN to 1749 AN. A career naval officer with over four decades of security experience, Montalbán was appointed Secretary of State on 16.VII.1744 AN following the resignation of Federico Mercurio amid the Mercurio intelligence scandal. Known for her non-partisan approach to national security matters, she served under administrations of various political alignments throughout her distinguished career. She was succeeded by Jean-Michel Durand in 1750 AN.
