TERRORIST ATTACK FOILED DURING OPENING OF THE CORTES
Federal Gendarmerie and FCD Police shut down suspected Vanic terrorist cell
CARDENAS, FCD — The Federal Gendarmerie revealed today that a police raid four days before the opening of the Cortes Federales foiled a developing plot to blow up the Cortes Federales building with powerful explosives.
In a press conference today, Federal Gendarmerie spokesperson Adnet Samuel said, “coordinating with local police and federal intelligence agencies, we have prevented a significant attack by a Vanic terrorist group based out of North Lyrica called the Freyja’s Battlers.”
In a rare press conference, Samuel continued, flanked by other officials that led the raid and arrested over 27 suspects, confiscating hundreds of pounds of explosives and several service vans that would strike the building in different sections to cause it to collapse.
The attacks on the would-be target were prevented by caching telephone metadata and Internet information pursuant to a series of search warrants issued by a federal judge in North Lyrica.

PUNTA SANTIAGO BECOMES LEAST AFFORDABLE REAL ESTATE MARKET IN NAX
Cárdenas, Wechuahuasi, Parap, and San Luis follow suit as housing costs rise rapidly
PUNTA SANTIAGO, ALD – If you live in Punta Santiago, you can be excused for forgetting what a “for sale” sign in front of a property actually looks like. Dwindling inventory in Nouvelle Alexandrie’s largest city has killed the “for sale” sign in the city.
“It’s hard to see anything actually with a sale sign anymore because it’s all flipping so quickly,” says Grace Delors, a managing partner at Delors-Gambit Real Estate. “It’s crazy right now. So many people are looking for a home - rent, buy, whatever - and there’s barely any supply.”
Punta Santiago is now officially the most expensive housing market in Nouvelle Alexandrie, according to the Federal Association of Real Estate Agents.
“Punta Santiago is open and not as strict as other places. You have excellent weather, great public transport, and you’re right next to the Southern Aldurian Riviera,” added Delors.
The median household income in Punta Santiago is just a hair over 43,000 ecu, while a median priced home is more than 600,000 ecu. If you do the math, it means you need to put close to 80-percent of your income into owning your home.
It’s a complex problem to solve when your hometown becomes the hottest housing market in the country.
“Our little town has become a big city,” concluded Sime. And, it’s not just ownership that’s a problem. Rents in Punta Santiago by 38%, the highest gains nationwide.
“The problem is not just in Punta Santiago, it’s happening all over the country,” says economist and real estate analyst Professor Lance Mandrake at the University of Cardenas. “Other cities are following suit. And a big culprit is that housing construction slowed down over the last three or four years.”
Demand to live in the largest cities of the Federation have shot up as job opportunities, industry, and good schools have clustered, grown, and thrived around urban and suburban areas. Construction of new housing has not caught up with the growth of the population around the major urban centers of the Federation.
The cities of Cárdenas, Wechuahuasi, Parap, and San Luis follow Punta Santiago as the most expensive cities to live in if you’re in Nouvelle Alexandrie.
